Vatel Bahrain Hosts Annual Student Ghabqa with International Guests

Al Jasrah, Bahrain – Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School recently celebrated its annual Ghabqa, marking the holy month of Ramadan with an inclusive event for its students, including exchange students from EKLYA School of Business in Lyon, France.

The celebration began with a warm welcome from Ms. Eman Haider, Head of the Academic Department at Vatel Bahrain. Ms. Haider extended heartfelt Ramadan greetings and expressed hopes for continued peace, security, and prosperity in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She commended the students for their hard work throughout the academic year and encouraged them to strive for excellence in pursuit of influential roles, akin to the college's distinguished alumni.

Ms. Haider highlighted the Ghabqa as part of a series of social initiatives designed to strengthen communication and cohesion within the college community.

The event also welcomed members of the administration from EKLYA School of Business. This collaboration is part of a larger international cooperation agreement between Vatel Bahrain and EKLYA School of Business, set to continue through mid-April.

The gathering provided a platform for EKLYA students to immerse themselves in Bahraini customs and traditions during Ramadan, fostering cross-cultural exchanges. The visiting students shared their enthusiasm for participating and learning about the Kingdom's cultural practices during this special time.

The program included a variety of entertainment and cultural activities, alongside the distribution of prizes and gifts, which contributed to a festive atmosphere that deepened the bonds among all attendees.
