Vatel Bahrain organised an educational session in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing together students, faculty and administrative staff to raise awareness of the disease, highlight the importance of early detection and encourage greater understanding of the emotional and social support needed by individuals affected by cancer.
The session addressed essential aspects of breast cancer awareness, including regular screening, timely medical consultation and the importance of taking a proactive approach to personal health. Discussions also explored the challenges faced by individuals diagnosed with cancer and the importance of providing compassionate, informed support that recognises their psychological and emotional needs. Active participation from students and staff contributed to a constructive exchange of perspectives on health awareness, empathy and the shared responsibility of supporting those affected by the disease.
