Vatel Bahrain organized a special event in celebration of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, to the throne. The event was held at the faculty’s campus in Jasra and was attended by members of the faculty’s management, staff, students, and graduates.
The celebration encompassed a carefully curated programme of heritage and cultural activities aimed at familiarizing students with Bahrain’s rich cultural identity and long-standing traditions, particularly given the faculty’s diverse international student body representing a wide range of nationalities. The programme was further enriched by a series of musical and artistic performances that embodied the essence of Bahraini heritage, most prominently the traditional Bahraini Ardha, which garnered widespread interest and admiration from students and attendees alike.
On this occasion, Sheikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain, extended his highest congratulations and sincere best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and to the loyal people of Bahrain, on the occasion of the glorious National Day, reflecting the deep sense of pride and appreciation for the achievements and accomplishments realized across various fields.
Sheikh Khaled stated, “Celebrating this national occasion within the faculty campus aims to instill a strong sense of belonging and citizenship among students, reinforce values of loyalty and national pride, and enhance their awareness of their role in continuing the Kingdom’s development journey and contributing to the building of Bahrain’s future prosperity and progress."
Sheikh Khaled further affirmed that Vatel Bahrain bears a significant responsibility in preparing qualified national talent capable of leading the hospitality sector, in alignment with the Kingdom’s economic development priorities, and noted that this approach supports Bahrain’s vision of strengthening the tourism sector and positioning it as a key driver of sustainable growth and long-term economic prosperity.
