The Vatel Hospitality & Tourism Business School in Bahrain organised a field trip for foundation year students in cooperation with The Art Hotel & Resort.
The General Director of Vatel Bahrain, Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, confirmed that such trips are carried out under academic supervision. Students gain exposure to various operational and administrative departments and get the opportunity learn about the tasks and duties of different departments.
Al Khalifa noted that these trips introduce students to different career paths in the tourism, hospitality, and hotel sector. It will also allow them to witness the speed of career progression in the field.
Sh. Khaled praised the cooperation between Vatel and The Art Hotel & Resort, especially that it is a luxurious hotel with great experience in the field of hospitality and tourism that is extended to Vatel students.
