In a new milestone that adds to its growing academic and professional achievements, Vatel Bahrain has been awarded "Leading Hospitality and Tourism Management Institution in the Middle East for 2026" as part of the global Travel and Tourism Awards presented by the UK based LUXlife magazine.
The 2026 award builds on Vatel Bahrain’s previous recognition at LUXlife’s Travel and Tourism Awards, including two distinctions in 2024: Best Hospitality & Tourism Management Business 2024 in Bahrain and Hospitality Business School of the Year 2024 in Bahrain, followed by its 2025 recognition as Leading Hospitality & Tourism Management Business 2025 in Middle East region. Together, these honors further reinforce the school’s growing regional profile and the consistency of its academic and industry-driven model. The recognition also reflects Vatel Bahrain’s success in delivering a distinctive educational approach that combines advanced academic learning with hands-on industry training across the hospitality and tourism sectors.
The award underscores the position Vatel Bahrain has established as a specialized academic institution with a strong and steadily expanding presence in Bahrain and across the region. Through internationally aligned programs and a fully integrated learning environment, it continues to equip students with the knowledge, skills and professional exposure needed to meet the evolving demands of the labour market and the fast-changing hospitality and tourism landscape.
“This achievement marks a significant milestone for Vatel Bahrain and reflects the strong position the school has attained in hospitality and tourism education,” said Sheikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain. “It also underscores the success of our educational approach, which brings together academic excellence and practical industry exposure through close partnerships with leading hotels and hospitality establishments. Through this model, we continue to develop students’ capabilities, enhance their professional readiness and support Bahrain’s standing as a regional hub for specialized hospitality and tourism education across the region.”
"This achievement provides strong momentum to continue advancing our role in preparing Bahraini talent to contribute to the future of hospitality and tourism, while expanding our partnerships with leading international hotel brands and equipping the market with qualified graduates who can respond to the sector’s evolving needs and broader international development priorities,” Sheikh Khaled said.
