Vatel Hospitality & Tourism Business School continues its academic achievements as it maintains the 11th rank in the world, among 160 universities worldwide, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023: Hospitality & Leisure Management.

In 2022, Vatel advanced 8 places, after it ranked 19th in the year 2021, thus making the college the first in France for two consecutive years.

 

The General Director of Vatel Bahrain, Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, affirmed that "Vatel's maintenance of that advanced international rank confirms the college's renowned global presence through its exceptional and unique academic and practical programs, especially since the college is witnessing a global expansion through 55 branches in 33 countries.

 

Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stated “this great academic achievement affirms the graduates’ excellence, who number more than 42,000 worldwide, especially since most of the graduates have become international cadres in the fields of tourism, hospitality and hotel management. Vatel is keen on ensuring its programmes are of the highest quality in accordance with international standards and in line with the demands of the global labor market."

 

Al Khalifa added that "the new classification of Vatel reflects positively on Vatel Bahrain and contributes to motivating its students who receive the highest standard of theoretical and practical education by international experts in the field of hospitality and tourism in France, Bahrain, and the world. Noting that Vatel enjoys a unique teaching method, with 50% theoretical study that takes place through academic classes on the college campus, while the other 50% is in practical applications.

 

On his part, the International Network Director of Vatel group, Paul d'Azémar, expressed his pride in this new achievement, stressing that the college pays great attention to the hospitality, tourism, and hotel industries, noting that what impressed him the most is the global recognition of Vatel’s students’ qualifications.

 

Paul d'Azémar added, "What is gratifying is that the employment rate for our graduates reaches 100% after about 6 months of graduation, which confirms the global confidence and trust enjoyed by the graduates. This is a great motivation for us to continue to grow and develop."

 

The International Network Director of Vatel group noted that "the college has succeeded in developing the quality of academic programmes and maintaining international standards by applying a set of strategies, which qualified it to maintain the advanced international rank for the second year in a row."
